It has now been confirmed that theAhsoka series is finally in production, andfans are still wondering how much of a sequel toRebels it'll be.Rebels may well be the most underappreciatedStar Wars project, and fans have long awaited its sequel. It isan incredible story of hope, rebellion, and family, and even though it is more kid-focused than other shows, it is still full of hilarious moments.
The core unit of beloved characters hassome hugely funny quotes throughout the show, whilecharacters like Hondo Ohnaka appear to bring their typical comedic brilliance to proceedings also.
The Force Is Not Always Necessary
"No, I Could Hear You Two Arguing Through The Door."
The relationship between Zeb and Ezra is one of the best in the show, going through so much development and being the source of much entertainment, including this moment when they allow Kanan to deliver this funny quote.

Ezra and Zeb loudly argueoutside Kanan's room about delivering the news of Hera and Sabine being in danger, and when Kanan says he knows about the danger, a wide-eyed Ezra asks if he felt it in the Force prompting this response. This quote is not just funny because of the line and delivery from Kanan, but due to the childish arguing of Zeb and Ezra, which is always fun to watch.
It Does Seem Rather Easy To Steal From Them
"Why Does The Empire Let Us Keep Stealing These Things?"
Rex has been a consistently fantastic presence throughoutStar Wars animation and fans are so glad he has survived until the endof both shows. His time inRebels showed a new, grizzled side of the character and some new dynamics, such as that with Kanan, which leads to many fun moments.
This is regarding Kanan and Rex once again being able to steala shuttle from the Empire, which is proved to be a relatively simple task throughoutRebels. The awareness from the characters that this should be a more arduous task is great, and Rex's reply line of "Oh, I thought this was the same one we used before," is also great.
Going With The Flow
"That Went Well." "Yeah." "You Know Which Way We Are Supposed To Go?" "No Idea."
One of the more underrated episodes fromRebels' admittedly weaker first season is "Fighter Flight," which really explores and furthers the dynamic between Zeb and Ezra, who steal a TIE Fighter and have to own up to Kanan and Hera over comms.
The whole scene is great, with the parental figures of Kanan and Hera getting annoyed while Zeb and Ezra act innocent. This final exchange, though, is the funniest as the pair casually, even naively, believe they handled the situation really well before Zeb calmly admits he has no idea where they are flying. It is one of their best scenes together.
It Is A Rather Rhetorical Question
"Does Anyone Ever Say Yes To That Question?"
Kanan Jarrus may well be the most underappreciated character in canon, being not only one of (if not the) best Jedi and the encapsulation of what they should be but also having so many fantastic moments and quotes.

This is one of its funniest as it is so accurate. So often, in movies and TV, characters ask others if they are crazy, which is what Hera asks Kanan here to get this response. Considering the number ofwild plans put together by the Spectres, it is no surprise that he is used to hearingthese accusations.
What Are The Odds
"Is This Some Kind Of A Joke? I'm Commander Brom Titus."
Commander Brom Titus pops up a few times inStar Wars: Rebels, always opposing Ezra, and it is always funny to watch as the young Jedi bests the dim Imperial Officer. Not every attempt to swindle Titus works, though.
When Ezra impersonates Titus over comms to the Empire in order to get them off his and Sabine's back, the voice of Titus says this quote as it gets revealed Ezra is trying to pass himself off as Titus to Titus. It is such a typical Ezra moment, being funny and an almost childish idea that needed a bit of luck to work, luck he did not have.
Drunk Kanan
"All The Colors, It's Like A Rainbow!"
Being such a small band of rebels, the Ghost crew had to be constantly on their toes, improvisational when necessary to avoid the Empire and solve problems that pop up out of nowhere. Kanan shows great skill at this during Empire day.
When confronted by a stormtrooper, Kanan smartly pretends to be drunk, and with the greatvocal performance of Freddie Prinze Jr., it isa hilarious scene that shows not only the intelligence and quick thinking of Kanan but further highlights how hilarious the character can be.
Drugged Hera
"I Hate Your Hair."
One of the best and most emotionally powerful episodes inStar Wars TV history is "Jedi Night," where Kanan Jarrus sacrifices himself. The episode is not all tear-inducing tension and emotion, though. It has moments of both happiness and hilarity between Kanan and Hera.

When Hera is drugged by the Imperials, she is clearly intoxicated and is hilarious when she is. She has multiple great lines, but her comment on Kanan's hair may be the best. The delivery by Vanessa Marshall is on-point, with her inebriated complaints of droids and hair changes making Hera hilarious prior to her most vicious heartbreak.
Not All Of Them, Though
"Oh, The Stories I Could Tell You, So Many Of Them True."
Hondo Ohnaka is one of the most consistently hilarious characters inStar Wars, bringing a slew of comedic brilliance inThe Clone Wars before toning down his vicious pirate nature inRebels while retaining an arsenal of humor at his disposal.
This is one of his funniest quotes and sums up his personality inRebels. He is a swindler and a pirate at heart with a silver tongue. Not everything he says is the truth, but he says it with confidence and a charisma that is undeniable. Even when he is unlikable, fans and characters cannot help butluke Hondo.
Hondo Catches Audiences Off Guard
"Come Now, Let's Leave Your Wife Out Of This."
Azmorigan is the kind of annoying character that the majority of fans over a certain age will not be able to appreciate or enjoy, but his presence gives fans one of the most hilarious lines in the show from Hondo.
When Azmorigan says, "I don't deal with washed-up old relics," to which Hondo promptly gives this reply that unquestionably takes first-time viewers by surprise. It isone of the funnier lines inStar Wars TVand is typical of Hondo, even if fans did not expect to hear it inRebels.
AP-5's Rescue Was Not What He Wanted
"No, No, No, No, Go Away! I Was So Happy."
AP-5 is basically the C-3PO to Chopper's R2-D2, and his role in the show is severely underrated as he provides what may well be the funniest scene in theseriesas he is left to float through space alone before being rescued - much to his disdain.
His moment of peace as he sings in the darkness of space is definitely a wild, uniqueStar Wars moment, but it works and is great, becoming hilarious when he realizes he is being rescued. His love for the peace of space turning into hatred of the loyalty of the Ghost crew is so entertaining to watch.
